In my final year at Saint Michael's College our senior capstone in the Digital Marketing and Communications department was to create a Website Documentary that is "new, never been done before, is still relevant in 10 years, and is not about AI". This was a year long research project between me and my two other group mates- Casey Arsenault and Christina Cummings. This was a grind, struggle, and most of all insightful. We looked at hundreds of sources that basically told us that we, ourselves, suffer from the Toxic Competition Mindset. Tackling the topics of biology, education, youth sports, expectations from parents and society, and of course, our own mind. This forced each of us to reflect and understand that this mindset, that we all feel, is ingrained in our culture from cradle to grave. Please check this out.
